We have years of experience in engine design, from alternation of load development till development of the reciprocating kinematic.

We developed highly boosted (up to 6.5 bar of boost) engines with flushed pre-chamber with and natural aspirated engines with the highest torque plateau's of 130 Nm/Liter over 4000 rpm wide and a peak torque of 143 Nm/Liter peak torque at flywheel.

With our engineering service we support many race teams world wide (South Africa, Angola, Switzerland, Canada, Texas). What we can do for you is following:

  • Analyzing the status quo of your engine and transfer your engine design into the simulation environment
  • Analyzing dyno results and logs of your application-typical load-profile to see where the actual calibration and engine setup support your application and where are areas of improvement
  • Variing of modifications to see how the areas of improvement can be supported best on a simulation basis
  • Specifying the engine built details and setup system or components:
    • clearances and oil specification as well as the oil cooling system
    • redline recommendations and redline calibration setup for best endurance, depended on the calculation of forces of the crankdrive and valvetrain, which include weight, rod bolt characteristics, valve lift curves, valve spring forces and so on
    • squish setup
    • valve lift curve optimization and camshaft recommendations
    • valve seat, size and port design recommendations based on experience and calculations on a 1D-basis
    • combustion chamber shape and compression ratio as well as optimal fitting valve relief depth to accomodate best scavenging
    • design parts, like header, intake manifolds, heat exchanger or design complete systems like boost systems including charge cooling for you
    • Analyze track data to specify gear ratios with respect to the actual and new setup and your drivestyle and demand as well as budget
